A comprehensive Atlas of environmental pollutions in Persian Gulf

The petroleum industries in the coasts of the Persian Gulf, are not only effluent with the natural resources,  but they also produce large amount of wastes that result in air , water and soil pollution in the region. To control the pollutions, which are alarmingly growing , the most effective way is to analyze environmental pollutants to adopt a strategy for their control. In our project we have studied the major causes of pollution, their effects on our environment and the various measures that can be taken to control.



-  Improved control over impacts on the environment

-  Higher environmental awareness

-  Increased managerial responsibility for regulatory compliance

-  Increased cost-effectiveness of the developmental processes

-  Increased public access to information

-  Emission and impact monitoring

-  Development of a draft enterprise environmental monitoring programme

-  Conduct and document monitoring

-  Performing quality control and quality assurance

-  Environmental Impact Assessment in different GIS layers for simulation and modeling



-  Public authorities will be responsible for assessing the correct implementation of the enterprise environmental monitoring programmes

-  Public authorities will consider the costs of data production, analysis and reporting

-  The need for impact monitoring will be considered at the stage of enterprise environmental monitoring programme development

-  Follow all procedural requirements

-  Automation of data gathering in order to access easily
