According to the Public Relations of Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, an After Action Review (AAR) meeting for the project “Design and Construction of Mercaptan Removal Unit for Gas Condensates” was held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The meeting was attended by Azim Kalantari-Asl, Head of RIPI, members of the Boards of Directors, heads, managers, and experts involved in the project. The event was organized by the Knowledge Management Dept of the Institute.
In this session, the technical and executive teams presented their performance reports and reviewed the project’s strengths, national and industrial achievements, successful implementation experiences, process and management challenges, as well as corrective and improvement suggestions for similar future projects.
In this meeting, the President of RIPI expressed appreciation for the efforts made and emphasized the importance of accurately documenting the lessons learned and transferring these experiences to other strategic projects of the institute.
At the end of the session, it was decided that the collection of the project’s lessons learned would be compiled into an official report and shared with the relevant departments. This report aims to enhance project knowledge management, improve technical designs, and increase the efficiency of future processes within the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
