The Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), with over 65 years of experience, was established in 1959 under the name "Development Research Department" of the National Iranian Oil Company, initially aimed at research and development in the application of petroleum materials. Following the glorious Islamic Revolution, due to structural changes, it was renamed the Center for Research and Scientific Services.
